JPEG'd
Animated explainers and promotional reels in retro pixel-art and synthwave aesthetics.
History
I was commissioned to design and produce high-impact motion graphics assets for JPEG'd, a decentralized lending protocol. The visual package was specifically created to be projected on large screens at a major crypto convention in New York City, aiming to capture the audience's attention with high-energy intros and dynamic animations that stand out in a busy convention environment.
Requirements & Results
The visual package consisted of two core parts: A dynamic motion design intro (50percent (1).mp4) exploring the transition from vintage cinema aesthetics to a polished synthwave environment with reflective metallic textures and abstract camera angles; and a promotional motion graphics explainer (cut (1).mp4) using a retro pixel art style and custom icons to break down complex financial concepts like NFT backed loans, insurance, and staking into an engaging, gamified visual narrative.
